Shhasum Drake is a bipedal anthro dragon/feral iguana hybrid, who is more of an attempt to describe a personality than an OC. He is a personal furry by WikiFur's definition.
Shhasum is actually an amalgamation of two entities. He is both an anthro dragon and a feral iguana. His logical side is the dragon side and his emotional side is the iguana side. This element goes back to a very early time that predates the full concept of him by two decades.
Despite being male, Shhasum is drawn very feminine (reptile wise, not anthro wise) in the face and body build. Gentle curves, serene grace. Shhasum's personality is peace and serenity. Shhasum's preferred environment is nature. He is a healer who avoids conflict and strife, and is sensitive and passionate.
Shhasum is an interesting mix. Being part apex predator and part prey animal, he has an odd point of view. His eyes are mostly to the side like prey eyes, but he can still look directly forward. His chin spike faces *inwards* in a symbol of peace. He is nonaggressive and empathetic.
Shhasum's primary reference for designing new variants is the painting drawn by Holiday (aka WolfMawther). This picture captures the aesthetic of the character extremely well, and is a source of inspiration for further art. Art from before this point differs a bit, especially in head shape. All other forms are further interpretation of the Shhasum that this piece established.
The secondary reference is this three-quarters bust. It is incomplete (it is missing the chin spike.)
The references for my preferred feral form are a bit fragmentary but should be sufficient for most.

(Special note regarding vore: Shhasum will willingly be prey for those he finds interesting or attractive, despite also considering everything that has happened to him to be permanent. He will engage in soft vore without digestion on a whim, and will engage in being digested or chewed for those he likes. He considers this an act of giving / sharing his body with others. Deaths appear in his death log permanently but are otherwise nonimportant due to a self-resurrection mechanic which does not need an intact body to work. This mechanic, and his rather formidible capabilies as a healer, give him a rather cavalier attitude towards personal danger.
